Laurel Berry is one of two oils in a soap called Aleppo named after the city of origin in Syria. The only other oil is Olive oil. It's extremely nourishing and softens skin. It's aroma is reminiscent of a campfire, smoky and heady. No added colors or scents.
Historically, Laurel Berry Oil is thought to contain strong antibacterial properties and is widely used in Middle Eastern cultures for hair and skin problems such as dandruff, acne, dry skin, eczema, rashes, psoriasis, rosacea, fungal infections and arthritis.
As laurel berry is hard to source, the higher the percentage of Laurel Berry Oil is used in the soap, the more unique and desirable the soap becomes.
Our version of laurel berry Aleppo soap contains 35% laurel berry oil sourced from Turkey, along with organic Olive Oil, Castor Oil, and Coconut Oil.
